The updated pricing for the new 2023 AMG C43 has finally been determined. The base price has been increased to $61,050, which is a $3500 increase when compared to the C43 sedan’s starting price for the older 2021 model.
As a result of the switch from a turbocharged V-6 powerplant in the previous model to a turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine in the latest iteration of the C43, this new model has very different appearance options. The former 3.6-liter V-6 engine produced 385 horsepower, whereas the new 2.0L engine generates 402 horsepower. This is a significant increase in power. If you aren’t sold on this configuration in the brand-new W205-gen vehicle, you can still purchase the previous-generation W206-gen C43 that is available in convertible and coupe body styles for 2023, since both body styles will continue to be offered for the foreseeable future.
The C43 will be available from Mercedes in two different trim levels, the first of which is dubbed Premium. The Pinnacle level comes with additional options like a sunroof, heated front seats, bigger displays, and a HUD; however, this trim costs an additional $2,800. There are also other available options, such as the Performance Seat Package, which will be available for $3250. Also, a driver-assist package that is going to cost an extra $1700, and a great deal of other standalone add-ons, all of which are capable of easily pushing the price of the vehicle over the $70,000 threshold.
The C43 is finally making its way to dealerships in the United States, but true AMG fans will have to wait for the top-dog model, the beloved 2024 AMG C63, before they can get their hands on one. It replaces the original C63’s V-8 engine with a brand-new plug-in hybrid system that is powered by a four-cylinder engine and produces a monstrous 671 horsepower combined. While the price has not yet been determined, we anticipate that it will be rather expensive.
